Colors

Glow sticks obviously come in many different colors. Although specific songs sometimes have certain colors associated with them, by default the color to use for each song depends on the characters who perform it. Color suggestions are provided for different types of glow sticks, but please be aware of restrictions on types of glow sticks you are allowed to bring into the concert. For example, MIKU EXPO LA/NY only allow chemical glow sticks 6 inches or shorter, whereas Magical Mirai 2014 in Tokyo bans extra bright glow sticks as well as LED/modified glow sticks with the exception of the specially adjusted glow sticks sold at the event.

Hatsune Miku

The color associated with Miku is usually a slightly bluish green, representing both the color of her hair and the color of green onions (negi).

  • For chemical lights, the standard green color is fine.
  • The official SNOW MIKU 2014 (Magical Mirai) light stick uses a green color which is slightly less saturated and a bit more bluish than the chemical stick's green color.
  • For KING BLADE X10 and X10-II, use either the default GREEN color or the LIGHT GREEN one.

Kagamine Rin

( ) The color associated with Rin is usually a slightly orangish yellow to match her hair, although some hipsters prefer orange to match her character item.

  • For chemical lights, the standard yellow color (which is slightly orangish anyway) is fine.
  • The official SNOW MIKU (Magical Mirai) 2014 light stick features both a slightly orangish yellow and an orange.
  • For KING BLADE X10 and X10-II, use either the default YELLOW color or the ORANGE one. The LIME color is too green.

Kagamine Len

( ) The color associated with Len is usually either orange if available to differentiate between the two characters or a slightly orangish yellow to match his hair, although hipsters prefer yellow to match his character item, the banana.

  • For chemical lights, orange is hard to source, so standard yellow is fine.
  • The official SNOW MIKU (Magical Mirai) 2014 light stick features both a slightly orangish yellow and orange.
  • For KING BLADE X10 and X10-II, use either the default YELLOW color or the ORANGE one. The LIME color is too green.

Megurine Luka

The color associated with Luka is pink for her hair color.

  • For chemical lights, use the standard pink ones.
  • The official SNOW MIKU (Magical Mirai) 2014 light stick has a pink for Luka.
  • For KING BLADE X10-II, the HOT PINK color appears to be the closest, being only slightly too red. X10-II's PINK is a bit too bluish and LIGHT PINK is too whitish. For X10 you will have to settle for PINK.

MEIKO

The color associated with MEIKO is red for her outfit.

  • For chemical lights, use the standard red ones.
  • The official SNOW MIKU (Magical Mirai) 2014 light stick has a red for her.
  • For KING BLADE X10 and X10-II, use the RED color.

KAITO

The color associated with KAITO is blue for many aspects of his package design.

  • For chemical lights, use the standard blue ones.
  • The official SNOW MIKU (Magical Mirai) 2014 light stick has a blue for him.
  • For KING BLADE X10 and X10-II, use the BLUE color.
